BOB's DVD Shelf

Sorry that there haven’t been many DVD columns lately, but it’s hard to get on and repeatedly mention that there is nothing worth owning (or even renting), and for the most part that’s been the case for about a month. Way to go, Hollywood!

Anyhow, this time around honestly isn’t much different, but I just wanted to chime in because there are two somewhat poorly-received sci-fi efforts, Push and The Knowing, that could at least be worth rentals.

Here’s the IMDB description and a trailer…for both…

“Two young Americans with special abilities must race to find a girl in Hong Kong before a shadowy government organization called Division does.”

“A teacher opens a time capsule that has been dug up at his son's elementary school; in it are some chilling predictions -- some that have already occurred and others that are about to -- that lead him to believe his family plays a role in the events that are about to unfold.”
