Who has his own radio station and loves parades? BOB does!
That’s why he’s is proud to once again support the 24th Annual Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade Saturday, December 1st in downtown Austin benefitting Operation Blue Santa.
As always, the parade is full of visual delights for the entire family; you’ll see giant balloons, floats, marching bands, children’s characters, Grand Marshal Olympic Silver Medalist Leo Manzano, and even classic cars with BOB’s pals Elvis and Santa Claus! And BOB’s even got his own rockin’ float this year complete with a live band playing your favorite hits and holiday classics.
The parade starts at 11am at the State Capitol and marches south on Congress Ave. to Cesar Chavez St. Check out the parade route below. At a designated time, the entire Parade will stop and Santa’s Helpers will assist children in giving their toy. All toys received at the Parade will be taken to Blue Santa Headquarters to be delivered to a child in need. One-third of the toys distributed by Operation Blue Santa come from the Parade.
