Veronica Elizabeth Cruise born and raised in Dallas originally wanted to be the next Barbara Walters. She interned for a Fox TV station and realized that she was not cut out to be a beat reporter. This is after spending an August afternoon in a field with officers looking for an escaped prisoner and hiding in an overpass because the tornado was approaching. She earned her BA in Broadcast Journalism and worked for a CBS Radio Country station in Dallas for 4 years. In 1999, she took over the late night shift for a Country radio station owned by LBJS in Austin and eventually became the Music Director. She met her husband here in Austin, but moved with him to Houston for a job. She worked for a CBS Radio Country Station in Houston. Eventually she made her way back to Austin working for a Hip Hop Station. She worked for another local station here in Austin for 9 years, before she found BOB. Because she has ADHD, she also writes an occasional blog for a local beauty guide and assists businesses with nonprofit events and marketing. She and her husband have a preteen daughter. They go to church every Sunday to pray that everyone survives these preteen and teen years. She also does some acting/modeling…mostly when they need a token middle aged Asian woman. She will also be the one using disinfectant wipes when the boys leave the studio…maybe that’s why Bob let her in the building!
