Austin Restaurant Weeks 2018| August 17 – September 3
Mark your calendar and prepare your appetites, it’s Austin Restaurant Weeks 2018! This two-week long celebration includes specially-priced lunches, cocktails, and dinner across the Austin-area. Don’t forget, while you dine at places like III Forks Steakhouse, Cane Rosso, and more your money will directly benefit the Central Texas Food Bank.
Master Pancake vs. Titanic| August 17 – August 25
If you could never let go of Jack or had a sinking suspicion that there really was enough room on the door for he and Rose then this may be the event for you! Local comedy group Master Pancake are preparing a one of kind viewing of the iconic film Titanic at Alamo Drafthouse Ritz. This is one of the few occasions at the theater where you can get rowdy so it’s definitely not one to miss!

Free Art Friday, presented by SprATX, takes over the city with a once a week to presents the work of local artists to the public and it’s all for FREE! To play along, you’ll need to first get on Instagram, follow along using the hashtags #atxfaf and #atxfreeartfriday then go out and find art created by artists from right here in Austin. When you find something, thank the artist, and that’s it!

Beyonce Brunch | 10:30 AM – 3 PM
Saturday is National Honey Bee Day and what better way to celebrate than with a party centered around the Queen B herself – Beyonce! Trace at the W Austin is offering a specialty brunch benefitting the Sustainable Food Center Bee Education Programs. There will be specialty drinks and Beyonce tunes for the entire event!
7th Annual Austin Originals Benefit Concert & Live Stream featuring Bob Schneider | 6:30 PM
All summer long, he’s rocked you at Saxon Pub following our happy hour but on Saturday night, you’ll get the see local music legend Bob Schneider on a bigger stage. The Austin Originals Benefit Concert at ACL Live at the Moody Theater benefits the Austin Child Guidance Center (ACGC). The night will feature an Austin Originals Tasting Grove reception area with food bites from local Austin favorites; live and silent auctions; and additional musical performances by Casey McPherson and James Junius.
City-Wide Garage Sale | 11 AM – 5 PM
Austin’s City-Wide Garage Sale is back this weekend at the Palmer Events Center, bringing a huge variety of vintage clothes, furniture, jewelry, art, antiques, and literally everything in between! The sale runs Saturday and Sunday, with $7 admission and no charge for kids 12 and under.

Camp Gladiator and Athleta Free Work Out | 9 AM – 12 PM
Celebrate Athleta’s anniversary on Sunday morning with a free community workout with Camp Gladiator and exclusive shopping and snacks from Nada Moo, Purely Elizabeth, Dry Soda and more!
Concerts in the park: Brass | 7:30 PM
Soak up the last of the summer sun with a free concert in the park, presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra! It’s the 16th season for these free ensemble concerts at the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center for the Performing Arts. This Sunday will highlight the brass section. Get there early to set up your blanket and picnic dinner.
Summer Artist Market | 4 PM – 10 PM
Head out the Buzzmill for an evening artist market that will raise funds to support the Articulate Austin’s pilot season! Stick around while you’re there for a live performance by Papa Squatt and a raffle featuring some prizes by Brass Rabbit Vintage, Breadwinner, and more!
