Ed Sheeran Heartbroken by the Death of His First Cat, Graham

Written by: Roger Flores

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that pop singer Ed Sheeran’s cat, Graham, also known as Baby Ba Boo, died after being struck by a vehicle.

The singer made his grief public by posting on Instagram with a simple picture of Graham next to a guitar with the simple caption of a broken heart emoji.

The record-breaking singer rescued the cat and was looked after by his manager Stuart Shaw and his partner Liberty Mill while Sheeran was on tour.

Mill and Shaw also commented on the cat’s passing in an Instagram post, posting a lengthy caption with a picture of Graham yesterday.

“We are absolutely heartbroken. He was such a dude. Funny and clever and best mates with a massive German Shepherd. We are going [to] miss you so much. Thanks for all the fun.”

Sheeran commented on the struggles of touring and also caring for a pet to All In in August of 2014. “I missed Graham growing up, pretty much,” he said at the time, adding, “But I’ll be there in his later life.”

The Grammy winner certainly has a soft spot for felines, as he now cares for four, even making an Instagram page for his cats Callipo and Dorito - also known as Squish and Pusslé.

"My cats set up their own Instagram, clever pussles [sic],” he alerted fans Opens a New Window. at the time. “Follow their daily routine @thewibbles.”
