Stephen King's Home is Set to Become a Writer's Retreat

If you had the chance to stay in Stephen King’s home, would you? Well, now you have that option.

The acclaimed author’s iconic mansion in Bangor, Maine that inspired his idea for It is set to become a retreat. The Bangor City Council granted the author’s wish after King requested to make his home a non-profit. Now, writers will have the opportunity to stay at what will soon become a museum and will even have access to archives of King’s work upon request.

Five writers will be allowed stay in the guest house next door to the mansion simultaneously. With their home now transitioning into a retreat, King and his wife will be staying at their second home in Florida.
