You Can Now Grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks
It’s summertime but that’s not stopping anyone from craving fall-flavored products.
Starbucks officially released their pumpkin spice latte on a hot summer day. This is one of the earliest times the coffee shop has brought back the famous beverage, and there’s a particular reason as to why.
Around this time last year, product sales for pumpkin flavorings reached about $7 million. With Starbucks, the pumpkin spice latte craze began 16 years ago, and since that time, the pumpkin-flavored industry has increased to a $600 million market, according to Nielson.
You don’t just need to jump in on the pumpkin flavored coffee this fall (or summer), we’re here to let you know that it doesn’t stop there.
Dog food companies have picked up on the trend. So if you want to treat your pup with something that has a kick of spice, you can get your hands on some pumpkin spice dog food when you’re out at your local grocery store. And don’t forget about cereal and cookies. No matter what the case is, it’s clear to say that we can’t get enough of that cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger even if temperatures are at triple digits!
