Music on the Trail 4/15
Shake up your Wednesday nights with Music on the Trail—a free live music series right on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. Whether you’re here to discover new sounds, jam out to an Austin favorite, or just add a live soundtrack to your evening stroll, they promise good tunes and great vibes. So grab a blanket and bring some friends!
This week will feature local artist Nicc Parr & The Selfless Lovers, from 6:00-7:30PM.
Live on the Lawn 4/17
Come and rock out to live music on the Central Plaza Lawn at Hill Country Galleria! Bring your friends, family, and a blanket to lounge on the lawn as you enjoy all of your favorite local musicians. Don’t forget to grab a bite at one of Hill Country Galleria’s amazing restaurants! This event is free admission, family-friendly, and weather permitting.
This Friday will feature rock artist George Devore, from 5:00-7:00PM. This is a free event!
Wiberly Butterfly Festival 4/18
Hosted at the beautiful EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens, this annual festival celebrates butterflies, pollinators, and the arrival of spring in the Texas Hill Country.
This event features:
Live Butterfly Releases (9:00-3:00pm) (releases every 30 minutes)
– Animal Meet & Greets (10-1pm)
– Crafts & Face Painting
– Butterfly Train – Live Entertainment
– Concessions
The festival takes place rain or shine, butterfly releases will still happen regardless of weather. Admission & parking are free but donations are greatly appreciated. This is one of EmilyAnn’s biggest fundraisers!
Pop Up Picnic 4/18
Get ready for one of Austin’s most beloved spring traditions. Pop-Up Picnic returns to Waterloo Park this Saturday for an unforgettable evening of food, friends, and community in the heart of downtown.
BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic) or purchase a basket, each basket includes a delicious dinner for two from one of many incredible restaurant partners, complete with entry for two to Pop-Up Picnic. All Basket purchases directly benefit Waterloo Greenway!
